Getting started with HTTP

Tutorial - A little easier HTTP download using DownThemAll!

In this tutorial I will be showing you how to download your precious torrents via HTML in an easier way then just right clicking each single file. I will be showing you the “DownThemAll!” add-on for Firefox to do this. That does not mean there aren’t other ways to do it, this is just a simple method using an add-on for the browser most of you probably use.

Installing DownThemAll!

The first thing you obviously need to do is install the add-on. This can be done by opening Firefox and going to extra add-ons in the top menu. You can also follow this link (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=DownThemAll!!&cat=all) and click the “add to firefox” button there. Just follow the on-screen instruction for the installation itself.

Using DownThemAll!

Now, open the link you got from extremeseed and login with the information provided to you. Here you just browse to the folder you want to download, click on it and then right click somewhere in this folder. Here you select “DownThemAll!!” and click “all files” in the new screen. Just click start and it will download everything in the folder you where in.

Note however that there is one downside to this, you will download the subfolders, but not their contents. You will still have to open the subfolders and repeat the process for each of them. The only browser based solution is using an offline browser, but I rather suggest just using FTP then. DownThemAll! isn’t perfect, but it will make it a lot easier and you will only encounter this problems on very big torrent packs anyway.

If you need help just get to MSN / live support for direct help from extremeseed support.
